The Ed Sullivan Theater, located between West and 53rd, in Manhattan, provides for an exceptional visit in the heart of New York City. The Ed Sullivan Theater has been the site of the radio and television broadcasts of the CBS network since 1936. The theatre has no less than 1200 seats for visitors. 400 seats are sued for TV audiences. The Ed Sullivan Theater is where the excitement of live television meets the public, with broadcasts of The Ed Sullivan show in the 1990s and more recently The Late Show with David Letterman. The state-of-the art audio facilities were fitted in the Ed Sullivan Theater with a view to some of the most spectacular entertainment in the world, with maximum emphasis on civil/television participation.

In 1993 the Ed Sullivan Theater won the Time magazine award for the best design, and in 1996, it won the United States institute of Theatre Technology award. Various projects have characterised the Ed Sullivan Theater and made it unique, including the current The Late Show with David Letterman. The Ed Sullivan Theater has also been awarded various awards from architectural societies. The Ed Sullivan Theater also played home to the famous introductions of Middle America to The Beatles and Elvis Presley, and is iconic in the history of television in America. While on vacation in the Big Apple, make your way down to the Ed Sullivan Theater to see this magnificent building, and stand where so many cultural icons in America have stood. Take advantage of vacation apartment rentals in Manhattan, with fully self-catering kitchens, lavish lounges and exceptional bedrooms. While in New York, see the magical attractions that make it so enchanting, including a helicopter tour that gives you the ultimate views of the New York skyline; a New York dinner cruise; or even a visit to the Niagara Falls. Tour the Empire State Building, making your way to the Observatory for some of the most spectacular views over the New York skyline. A visit to Ellis Island Immigration Museum is well-worth it.

The finest restaurants, a pulsating night-life, and excellent sight-seeing opportunities make your stay in the Big Apple the most memorable of all cities. A visit to the New York countryside is well repaid with opportunities to ski, hunt, hike, fish, mountain bike, and breathe in the fresh mountain air. Luxury self-catering log cabins in the Catskills, Adirondacks and around Finger Lakes are some of the most serene retreats on offer in New York. Your vacation in New York is incomplete without a visit to the magnificent and unique Ed Sullivan Theater; a bastion of entertainment that towers over New York.
