Sherwood Camp is situated in Ticonderoga, in the Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York, on the Northern end of Lake George. This area is very tranquil and is a mere 45 minute drive from Lake George Village where you can do all your major shopping. Sherwood Camp can accommodate five people and offers a full sized bed in each bedroom and a queen sized futon in the living area. The house is also equipped with a full kitchen, full bathroom, cable TV, VCR, stereo system, six lawn chairs, four pillows, blankets, comforters(no sheets), a stove, fridge, microwave, four cup coffee pot, plates, cutlery, glassware, cookware and storage containers. It is recommended that you bring along your own bathing and swimming towels as well as mosquito repellent and board games for those rainy days.
You can enjoy a great barbecue during the warm summer days under the trees right next to the lake, or for the rainy days you could enjoy a meal indoors on the screened patio. The evenings are superb next to this splendid lake with the sound of nature just outside the door. If you feel like getting out a bit you could go to the Village and enjoy a meal at one of the restaurants.
The area offers plenty to do with Ti being just 3 miles away where you could explore the craft and gift shops or visit the Wal-Mart Superstore for all your shopping needs. In the Village (45 minutes drive) you will find amusement parks, shops, restaurants, arcades, rodeo shows, riding stable, para-sailing, go-kart rides and Fort William Henry. For the more adventurous there are hiking trails, waterfalls, mountain hikes and smaller lakes to explore. If you enjoy fishing the dock is a great spot to try your luck. There are plenty of historical sites to visit, tours on the lake to enjoy, entertainment for the children and great evenings to enjoy around the campfire.
