Situated in a quiet residential street in the lovely Schroon Lake area, is where you will find the delightful Garden Cottages. This is a superb place with much to offer the entire family, from fishing to apple picking in the fall.

The Garden Cottages offers superb cottages, which can accommodate four guests in the two bedrooms. The one room has a double bed and the other room has two twin beds. The cottages are equipped with a full kitchen with a eat-in area, a gas stove, refrigerator, pots, pans, utensils, silverware, dishes, tea kettle, a coffee maker, a toaster, dishcloths, drying cloths, a dresser and/or closet, pillows, linens and extra blankets(no beach towels). The bathrooms have shower, bath towels, hand towels and washcloths(you can get fresh towels once during your week stay).

You can enjoy a barbecue outside in the open lawn area under the trees, or you could set up a table in the screened-in porch with Adirondack chairs. Picnics are a must in this superb setting, with trees all around and the sound of the birds chirping in the the skies. For a great evening you can make a fire in the campfire area and just enjoy the company you are with. If you feel like getting out or ordering take outs, there are great restaurants and pizzeria's. For the more upscale dining out, you can try Terrios, Drakes or the Clubhouse at the Word of Life Inn.

There is plenty to keep everyone busy such as, volleyball, horseshoes, Bocce Ball, Frisbees, Croquet and a huge playground for the children to enjoy for hours. For the fishermen, you can fish on one of the many lakes for rainbow, brook, brown and lake trout, bass, pike, perch, pickerel and salmon from your boat or you could try fly fishing in one of the many rivers. There are several places where you can obtain a fishing license and the boat launching area is just three blocks from the cottages. If you like hiking, there are numerous hiking trails in the Adirondacks, varying from beginner to the more advanced backpacker. There are also great mountain biking trails in the area. The lovely stretch of sand at the local beach is fantastic for a day out at the lake. Here you can enjoy the magnificent views and all the watersport such as, skiing, canoeing, boating and more. The golf players can enjoy a great game at the 9 hole golf course nearby. The area near the Garden Cottages offers plenty to do and great entertainment for the whole family.
